The Matrix

I’ve been seeing the idea that the Universe is just a simulation pop up constantly in social media circles related to spirituality. This is deceptive Reptilian propaganda and it is my responsibility as an Arcturian starseed to rebut it. Unlike a Reptilian, however, I will not pose their position as a straw man argument and attack that. I will argue a bit for their position and then show that it’s false. I will then argue for a strong counter argument and rebut that, too.

Technically, it would be much less computationally expensive to make the Universe only to appear to exist in your brain. This would be a genuinely equivalent argument to the Boltzmann brain, based on the preeminent physicist and pioneer of thermodynamics and statistical physics. I am not saying I believe this. I am merely stating a fact. It’s obviously less expensive to create a brain that imagines a fictional universe than to make a whole universe.

That said, I am a physicist and I study the patterns and laws of reality. For all intents and purposes, it is reality, and fundamentally we are beholden to its laws. Everyone can test and measure those laws and agree they are space-time invariant. If your imagination, for example, doesn’t allow you to do something meager like bench 2000lbs., then you haven’t broken through any barriers. You need to ground yourself, because you’re still actually here. By the way, the Boltzmann brain idea was meant to be a reductio ad absurdum argument and not to be taken as seriously as the Matrix.

A good counter argument to this is that we all curate our own reality. I could argue this point quite extensively using science and it’s even specifically within the domain of physics. In fact, this is true so I won’t bother to refute it. Let me just give an example using sound. Intensity is the amount of sound power passing through a unit area, while loudness is a matter of perception. If you have no ears or if your ear drums are damaged, the intensity of the sound would still be measurable using devices, but you would perceive no loudness. In fact, in this extreme situation, loudness is meaningless to you. But here is where the Reptilian lies begin to creep in after the element of truth. They will extend this idea further to say we all create our own realities and that each person has a separate reality. They would genuinely argue that to a true believer, they exist in a universe where they are capable of actually benching 2000lbs. In my Universe, they will die benching the weight. In theirs, they will bench it and look super strong.

This is crazy talk. I am humbly just a physicist working on contemporary, realistic problems in material science and medicine. I didn’t create the laws of physics. The laws of physics are observable by everyone. I was taught them and I have never seen them violated in the cases where they are taught to hold. They don’t hold because I believe them to hold. They don’t hold because a bunch of other people believe them to hold. I didn’t know the laws were the laws until I observed them myself. I also have never observed them broken by anyone, including a believer of any religion. But as you can see from my above, non-straw-man arguments, the Reptilians are masters at deception and can trick even Nobel laureate physicists, which on some occasions have adopted these very ideas. Indeed, I am presenting a stronger argument than you may have ever seen a spiritualist provide. Hopefully my words will help to ground any of my readers. I know the world can seem hard and the Reptilians make it even harder, but do try to be positive and you will inevitably reap the karmic justice that you deserve, for better or worse.
